| What are your feelings on an extended school calendar? It is being considered mainly to eliminate that long 3-month period when students are away from school when the school year ends. |
| Graduation would probably still take place in May, there would be longer breaks during the year, and in June and July classes would run 4 days a week. |
| This is only a sample school calendar and this could be modified in many different ways. As both a School Board Member and a Parent, I like this idea because it closes that gap of not being in school for 3 months at one time and allows a student to retain more of what they learned from one year to the next.
