“Marijuana Bust”
According to Bill Brunelle, Director of Public Safety, on the afternoon of April 14,
2011, the Red Lake Department of Public Safety in conjunction with the
Headwaters Safe Trails Task Force executed a federal search warrant at a Red
Lake Reservation residence and seized several pounds of marijuana and also
thousands of dollars in cash.
Two adult males, ages 47 and 36 were arrested and charges are pending. This
case remains under investigation by both the Red Lake Department of Public
Safety and Headwaters Safe Trails Task Force.
