Alfred Lyons Sr., 64, of Duluth, Minn. died Saturday, Feb. 20, 2010, at his
home.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 26, at the Ball Club
Community Center. A wake will begin at 4 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 25, at the Ball
Club Community center and will continue until the time of the service. Burial
will be in the George Johnson Memorial Cemetery, Winnie Dam, Minn.
Arrangements were made with the Olson-Schwartz Funeral Home, Bemidji,
Minn.
The pallbearers will be Patrick O’Shea, Cody Goggleye, Barry Schwochert,
Donnie Lyons Jr., Kevin Lyons, Myron Lyons, Stuart Smith and Frank
Sherman.
He is survived by his sons Alfred Lyons Jr. of New York, Arthur Lyons of
Humble, Texas and Mitchell Lyons of California; daughter, Jennifer (James)
Dahl of Bemidji; six grandchildren; sister, Lorraine O’Shea of Bemidji;
brothers Kenneth Lyons of Deer River, Minn. and Theodore Lyons of St. Paul.
