Gloria “Bunny” J. Schoenborn, 55, of Redby, died Saturday, Feb. 20, 2010, at
her home.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 25, at the Redby
Community Church with the Rev. Tom Pollock and Paul Straubel officiating. A
wake will begin at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 24, at the Redby Community
Center and will continue until the time of the service.

Arrangements were made with the Cease Family Funeral Home of Bemidji.

The honorary pallbearers will be Ted “Bozo” Gurneau, Donna Whitefeather,
Wanda “Quig” Jones, Crystal Cobenais, Sheldon Schoenborn, Billy Jack
Schoenborn, Betty Schoenborn, Beverly Schoenborn, Jeff Schoenborn,
Rodney Jackson, Charise Schoenborn, Brian Schoenborn and Val Stately.

She was born Aug. 29, 1954, to Melvin and Maggie Jackson in Red Lake.
She was raised in Redby, and attended the Red Lake High School. She
moved to Minneapolis, where she attended college. She lived there for a
number of years before returning to Redby. She was a homemaker and spent
her time raising her children. She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, playing
dominoes, and loved being with her family and friends.

She is survived by her daughter, Shelly Schoenborn of Redby; son, Ira
Schoenborn of Redby; sisters, Christine (Maurice) Thunder of Redby, Joyce
Batdorf of St. Paul and Melvina Jackson of Redby; four grandchildren; nieces
and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, John Schoenborn; brothers,
Elmer Smith, Dennis Smith, Chris Schoenborn, Julius Schoenborn, George
Schoenborn and Truman Schoenborn; sisters, Arliss Czeck and Lorna
Fairbanks.
