James Lawrence TeJohn Sr., 75, of Cass Lake, died Friday, Oct. 8, 2010, at his
home.
The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 12, at the Veteran’s Memorial
Building in Cass Lake. A wake will being at 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 11, at the Veteran’
s Memorial Building and continue until the time of service on Tuesday. The Cease
Family Funeral Home of Bemidji assisted the family with arrangements.
Pallbearers will be James TeJohn Jr., Johnson TeJohn, Bradley TeJohn, Kevin
TeJohn, Jim TeJohn and Kyle Engberg.
He was born Aug. 3, 1935, to Robert TeJohn and Elsie Kurtti, in Ponsford, Minn.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He enjoyed
hunting, fishing and was a pool shark.
He is survived by his wife, Joanna Ellis, of Cass Lake; children, James TeJohn Jr.,
Beverly Kamrowski, Linda TeJohn, Kenny TeJohn, Kevin TeJohn, all of Cass
Lake, Barbara Bullhead, of Bloomington, Minn., Jenny Ellis, of Bloomington;
special son, Eric Bunker, of Cass Lake; brother, Robert TeJohn, of Detroit Lakes,
Minn.; sister, Marlene Ritchie, of Duluth, Minn.; many grandchildren and great
grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Richard and Alfred TeJohn.
