Meranda “Mandy” Lynn Fineday, 28, of Pennington (Cass River), passed away on
Sunday, Dec. 12, 2010, in Boy Lake.
A wake service will begin at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 15, at the Veterans
Memorial Build-ing and continue until the 11 a.m. service on Saturday also at the
Veterans Memorial Building. Richard Cutbank will officiate. Burial will be held in
the Fineday Cemetery in Cass River. Arrangements are entrusted to Northern
Peace Funeral Home of Walker.
Pallbearers will be Bran-din and David James Fi-neday, Lowell and Bobby Fisher,
Herschel Ogema Jr. and Matt Bryan. Alternates will be Frank and Ron Sam, and
Tony Kinchen.
She was born on April 9, 1982, to Myron Lee Fineday and Priscilla (Desjarlais)
IronHawk. in Cass Lake . She enjoyed spending time with her family, her children
and her many friends. She loved scrapbooking and learning how to do birch bark
work which she was very creative at. She would spend much of her time singing to
her kids. She will be sadly missed by so many.
She is survived by her hus-band; Eric Grigsby, children; Brooklyn, Jaylen, Elwood,
Lucas and Desiree; father, of Pennington; mother, of Bemidji; brother, Brandin;
sisters, Ashley and Candice Sampson; special sister, Dar-lene; adopted mother,
Karyn; four grandparents; special sisters, Darlene Wind and Samantha Talioferro,
Jess Grey, Sarah Jaspers, Sharon White, Jess Jenkins and Rose Rognstad;
aunts, uncles, other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by an infant, Halee; three grandparents, and two great-
grandparents.
