Onja Kingbird, 74, of Minneapolis and Ponemah, died on Tuesday, Jan. 19, at
her home in Minneapolis.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, Jan. 24, at the Ponemah Community
Center with Spiritual Leader Steve Jackson officiating. A visitation service
will be held at the American Indian Center in Minneapolis at 3 p.m. Thursday,
Jan. 21, and a wake will be held on Friday, Jan. 22 at the Community Center
in Ponemah and continue until the time of service. Burial will be at the family
burial grounds in Ponemah.
