Wayne Allen Raisch, 62, of Cass Lake, died Saturday, Nov. 20, 2010, at the Cass
Lake IHS Hospital in Cass Lake.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 24, at the Facility Center in
Cass Lake, with the Rev. Jim Wheatley officiating. The wake will begin Tuesday,
Nov. 23, at the Facility Center and continue until the time of the service. The Cease
Family Funeral Home of Bemidji assisted the family with arrangements.
He was born on Aug. 19, 1948, to Charles and Elizabeth (Butterfly) Raisch, in
Cass Lake. He worked several jobs throughout his life including driving bus.
He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and being with his friends and family.
He is survived by sons, Charles and Wayne Jr., of Minneapolis; brothers, Charles
Jr. and Richard, of Cass Lake; sisters, Christine, Charlene, Doris, Sharon and
Maxine, of Cass Lake, Bertha, of Cloquet, Phyllis, of Bemidji, Judith, of Walker;
and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father; mother; step-mother, Laura; daughter,
Angela; sister, Virginia; brother, David; and nieces and nephews.
