William “Bill” John Wilke Thompson, 28, of Cass Lake, died Tuesday, Dec. 21,
2010 as a result of a car accident.
A wake service will begin at 4 p.m., Monday, Dec. 27, at the Facility Center in
Cass Lake and continue until the service at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 29, also at
the Facility Center in Cass Lake, with the Rev. David “Bubba” Yates officiating.
Burial will be held at the Thompsonville Cemetery in Cass Lake following the
service.
Arrangements are with Northern Peace Funeral Home of Walker.
Pallbearers will be David Graves, Paul Phonseya, Kenneth Beaulieu Jr., Ronald
Hulett Sr., Beto Luna, Duan Carmona, Donald Armstrong Jr. and Keith Carmona.
Honorary pallbearers will be his godfather, Noel Thompson Sr., Travis Raisch,
Talon Bedeau, Cheves Wind, Raymond Poole, Jason Dunn, Samuel Staples III,
Isaac P. Raisch Sr. and Richard Larson.
He was born Jan. 30, 1982 to John Wilke and Marilyn Thompson in Minneapolis.
He enjoyed gambling at the casinos, staying up late watching movies with his
mother, hunting with his father and singing “Bad to the bone” to his godfather for a
dollar.
He is survived by his parents; companion, Ida Beaulieu; sisters, Georgie, Susan,
Rhonda, Elizabeth, Jackie, Karla and Shelly; stepsisters, Wynona Day and
Lorraine Hulett; brother, Jason Wilke; children, William Thompson Jr., Deja
Herrera-Rincon, Dametrius Beaulieu and Kellyian Matthews; and many nieces,
nephews, other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by two aunts; grandmother, Sylvia Thompson Leith;
grandfather, Jack Wilke; a brother-in-law; a great uncle; and father in-law, Kenneth
Beaulieu Sr.
