Wynzir RedEagle, age 19, of Red Lake, Minn. died Sunday, September 12,
2010 at Sanford Hospital, Fargo, N.D.

Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Monday, September 20, 2010 at St. Mary’
s Catholic Church, Red Lake, Minn. with Fr. Jerry Rogers officiating.  A wake
will begin 3:00 PM, Friday, September 17, 2010 at Little Rock Community
Center.  Interment will be in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, Red Lake, Minn.  
Arrangements were entrusted to the Olson-Schwartz Funeral Home, Bemidji,
Minn.

Honorary Bearers will be Catherine Anderson, Helen Andersen, Patricia
RedEagle, Dawn Green, Shelley English, Danelle Nelson, Devon Andersen,
Theresa Andersen, Charmaine Andersen and Charlene Andersen.

Casket Bearers will be, Sean English, Truxton Andersen III, Kevin Andersen,
Dana Lyons Jr., Tyson Nelson,  Arlyn Nelson, Edward RedEagle, Douglas
RedEagle.

Wynzir VanPrix RedEagle was born June 15, 1991 to Thelma RedEagle and
Gary English.  He attended Red Lake Elementary School, Red Lake Middle
School and Red Lake High School.  He most recently attended Bemidji High
School where he planned on graduating from in 2011.  Wynzir was a nice
young man who always had a smile on his face.  He liked to watch TV, movies
and playing games on his X-box.  He enjoyed spending time with his friends
and family especially cousins, Andy and Terry.  He loved the outdoors and
cruising in his car with the music turned up.  He was proud to say he owned
his own vehicle.  He was very close with his step-father, Oscar, who lives in
New York City.  He was planning on making a trip to the “Big Apple” to visit
and tour colleges.

He is survived by his mother, Thelma of Red Lake; father Gary of Redby; step-
father, Oscar of New York City, N.Y.; brothers, Sean (Jessica) English of
Bemidji, Emjay RedEagle of Red Lake, Novotani Rivera of Brownsville,
Texas; sisters, Verna and Misty RedEagle of Red Lake; nieces, Karnica, Lily
Ann, Hailey and Bailey; nephew, Zachary; aunts, Kathy, Patty, Helen, Wanda,
and Shelley; and uncles, Clifford, Donovan and Pete.

He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Clifford and Verna
RedEagle; paternal grandmother, Mary Jane English; aunts, Beverly Tait,
Pamela English and Eldora Malone; special sister, Amber Martin.
