Baby Danelle Ann Burris, Ozaawaa Chi-Binesi-ikwe which means Golden
Thunderbird Woman, 10 days old, of Walker, died Sunday, April 24, 2011, in
Fargo, N.D.
Services will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, April 27, at the Veteran’s Memorial
Building in Cass Lake with Spiritual Leader Lee Staples officiating.
Arrangements are with Northern Peace Funeral Home of Walker.
Pallbearers will be Corey Hoffman, Kristopher Fisher, Adrian Burris and Joseph
Burris Jr.
Honorary Pallbearers will be all her family and relatives.
She was born April 14, 2011, to Levi Burris and Danita Bruce in Bemidji.
She is survived by her parents; paternal grandparents, Joe (Brenda) Burris of
Minneapolis; maternal grandmother, Carrie Bruce of Benedict, Minn.; and
maternal great-grandmother, Bonita Bruce of Walker.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Daniel Bruce Sr., a great
aunt; paternal, great-grandparents, Bernard Rock Sr., Geraldine Stone, Woodrow
Burris Sr. and Dora Davis.
