Damion Jordan Harrison, “Bezhigo Ganbow” (One that walks alone) of Bemidji,
infant son of Allene Harrison, born and deceased on Monday, February 14, 2011,
at the Bemidji Hospital.
Traditional Indian services will be held at 12 noon, Thursday, February 17, 2011 at
the Redby Community Center. A wake will begin in the afternoon Tuesday,
February 15, 2011, at the Redby Community Center and will continue until the time
of the funeral at the Redby Center.
Burial will be in the Kingbird Family Burial Grounds at the Ponemah Point.
Pallbearers will be Kenneth Harrison, Jr, Cleveland Harrison, and Anthony Smith.
Honorary pallbearers will be Shanelle Harrison and Melinda Owens.
He is survived by his mother, Allene Harrison, Bemidji, grandparents, Kenneth
Harrison, Sr and Melinda Owens, Bemidji, paternal grandparents, Veda and Hank
Harrison of Cass Lake and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandparents; Lucille and Melvin
Owens, Sr.
