Glendoris Smith, 72, of Coon Rapids, died Jan. 22, 2011.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 27, with a visitation
one hour prior to the service at Washburn-McReavy Coon Rapids Chapel, located
at 1827 Coon Rapids Blvd. A second memorial service will be held at 12 noon on
Saturday Jan. 29, at St. Mary’s Church in Red Lake.
She worked at Honeywell for 22 years, retiring in 2000. She enjoyed spending
time with grandchildren, gardening, baking and enjoyed volunteer work at the
American Indian Center feeding the homeless.
She is survived by her children, Georgia, Sue, Bernadine, Tammy, Bernie, Jim,
Dale, Glen and April; 19 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; brothers and
sister, Joe, Karen, Gertrude, Marvin, Mary, and Beverly.
She was preceded in death by Roger head, Barbara Head, Roderick Head, and
Bernie Smith Jr.
